Machine bed is constructed from high-strength cast iron (HT250) with T- shaped base and C- frame column, providing sufficient rigidity and excellent precision stability.
XY axis choose to use linear guide and linear dual-nuts ball screw, to ensure sensitive transmission, enhance and maintain the machining accuracy.
Automatic centralized lubrication system utilize electronically timed pump to ensures easy maintenance and smooth operation.
Wire drum adopts linear guide, and wire feeding speed was autonomously controlled by frequency converter to matching different materials and different thickness of work piece.

Features of Machine Tool Castings

High strength and high rigidity integrated bed

All the overall bed adopts high-grade HT250 as cast iron. It uses artificial aging (secondary heat treatment) and natural aging method to remove internal stress, and suppress the deformation caused by high speed action to a minimum. Therefore it can provide the best rigidity, stability
and precision retention.

Working Principle of Wire-Cut EDM Machines

In wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM), also known as wire-cut EDM and wire cutting, a thin single-strand metal wire, usually molybdenum wire, is fed through the work piece. Wire cut EDM is typically used to cut plates and to make punches, tools, and dies from hard metals that are difficult to machine with other methods. The wire, which is constantly fed from a wire drum, is held between upper and lower diamond guides which is centered in a water nozzle head. The guides, usually CNC-controlled, move in the X–Y plane. The upper guide can also move independently in the Z–U–V axis, giving rise to the ability to cut tapered and transitioning shapes. The upper guide can control axis movements in the G Code standard, which allows the wire-cut EDM to be programmed to cut very intricate and delicate shapes.
